Thank you for your interest in becoming a Resident of BONNYLODGE. We have compiled information about the lodge, which you may find useful in making your decision to apply for residency.

If your annual income on line 15000 of your notice of assessment is less than $30,970.00 your rent is subsidized by the Alberta Seniors, Community and Social Services Ministry. If your income exceeds the $30,970.00 threshold your rental rate is non-subsidized.
Our fees includes:
- Meal Services in dining room and self-serve area
- Housekeeping Services (once per week)
- Laundry Services (once per week) *additional fee applies
- Recreation programming daily
- Water, heat and electricity
- Emergency pendant and staff response
*Additional fees: Laundry Services either self-serve or facility provided ($45.00 per month), Satellite Fee ($25.00 per month) and Parking Fee ($50.00 plug in fee applies for the winter months of November through to March – Due November 30th annually) are additional charges that are not included in the rent. A security deposit of $500.00 is required with first months’ rent. An additional $500.00 damage deposit for an electric wheelchair as well as tenants’ insurance coverage are additional charges that are not included in the rent. (Electric wheelchairs must be approved by the lodge and a physiotherapist).
Residents are required to bring their own furniture and décor, Bonnylodge has emergency furnishings if needed, depending on a seniors’ financial or housing situation. You may also bring your own fridge (bar size), or microwave if you desire. We are unable to allow toasters or toaster ovens in Resident rooms. All mattresses coming into the Bonnylodge must be brand new.

Separate storage space for storage of personal belongings (located in basement, if available)

All rooms are equipped with an optional SHAW Direct satellite receiver & basic channel package for $25.00 per month.

All rooms have hook-up for a TELUS (or Eastlink west side only) telephone line. The resident must contact providers directly to set up an account.

We also offer an activity program coordinated by the Lodge, which offers entertainment, exercise programs, games, crafts, activities, and various outings.
- An assortment of service providers visits the Lodge on a regular basis including:
- Weekly Church services by various denominations in our area
- Library Services
- Visits by Therapy Dogs
- Hairdressing/Barber services are available 2 days per week by appointment (Fees posted in Hairdressing room)
Home Care Services are available through the Health Unit for personal care when a need is apparent. This service is available to individuals who meet the criteria as determined by Alberta Health Services and must be applied for directly by the Resident or their family member. These services are not available 24 hours a day and the Lodge does not provide personal care services aside from meals and recreation programming daily and housekeeping and laundry services once per week.
Our aim is to provide you a pleasant home with the added security of a helpful staff available 24 hours a day to ensure your safety and comfort.
